In 2005 I went to Brazil to visit friends. The three-year-old daughter had fallen into a lake a few months earlier and had developed a 'disorder' from being without oxygen for too long. Because of my lifelong fascination with horses, I took her to a riding school to see horses. The horses there 'enchanted' her. A kind of magic started between the girl and the horses. I had always felt that horses had something magical, but now I had seen it with my own eyes. I decided to follow a training course 'horse coach' to delve deeper into it. In the meantime the girl has grown up and works as a psychologist with horses in Brazil for children/adolescents. My own children have also discovered the silent power of horses;-)

Horse coaching is increasingly valued for the profound insights it offers into personal development. Coachees often experience positive changes in various areas such as self-awareness, stress reduction and improving their communication skills. Due to the sensitive nature of horses, which mirror our emotions, participants receive valuable feedback on their behavior and reactions in social situations. This is often experienced as confrontational but also enlightening.
Many people find that horse coaching helps them build trust, both in themselves and in others. Horses act as a mirror, making participants aware of their own blockages or patterns. It even works to bring to light and process deep-rooted emotions such as loneliness or sadness.
